【征稿启事】CFP:Special Issue on Digital Stegano and Forensics for the International Journal of Digital Crime and Forensics (IJDCF)
文章来源:一室  |  发布时间:2014-04-24  |  【 】 【打印】 【关闭】  |  浏览:

Steganography has long been a technique of covert communication. It aims at protecting not only the message but also the fact of the communication. The basic approach towards the goal is to hide message into an open medium without introducing detectable signs. With the wide use of multimedia and networks, modern steganography has been greatly advanced in performance and usability, whereas steganalysis, the technique for detecting the existence of steganography, has also been significantly developed.

In recent years, some important results have been proposed in the area. Typically, the theories and methods of steganographic codes have enabled a steganographer to hide message with less modification. To further enhance the covertness, adaptive steganography evaluates the security with a cost function and change the local embedding way accordingly. As for steganalysis, more effective models, steganalytic features and classification methods have been proposed.

The objective of this special issue is to gather high quality research efforts that address the challenges of the area of digital steganography and steganalysis with a view to provide the readers with an overview of the state of the art in this field. Possible topics for papers submitted to the special issue include, but not limited to:

  • Fundamental theories of steganography and steganalysis

  • Text, audio, image, and video steganography, and the corresponding steganalysis

  Steganographic codes

  • Adaptive steganography and the corresponding steganalysis

  • Steganalysis without sufficient priori knowledge, and the de-mismatch techniques

  • Steganalytic models and features, and dimensionality reduction of the features

  • Effective classification ways used in steganalysis

  • Quantitative steganalysis and multiclass steganalysis

  Important Dates

  • Paper submission deadline: 01 September 2014

  • Completion of the reviews: 15 October 2014

  • Camera Ready for publishing: 15 November 2014

  • Publication of the special issue: 01 March 2015

  Instructions for Manuscripts

Manuscripts should be submitted electronically by following the information for authors at: https://www.igi-global.com/login/?returnurl=%2fauthorseditors%2ftitlesubmission%2fnewproject.aspx
